Why anyone would buy the official leather one over this is confusing. The only “issue” if you could call it that is some slight scratching on the top ridge of the pencil holder where the cap has caught it a few times but you have to seriously look to see them. Other than that it has been faultless.And to anyone that reads the “not very protective” reviews and becomes concerned, you’re looking at the wrong product.
