Classic Shaving Stick
Great for the price. I put mine in an old round tin and use it from there. For under £2 this is great. I get a lemon kind of scent, very soft.

Lovely on the skin, and a fabulous close shave.
I must have bought Arko several times and forgot because here I am buying some more, and on repeat subscribe and save, however it appears currently at review you can only buy x1 for the current price £1.49 or on S&S £1.27 which is what I have currently then you can chose how often you would like the stick sent to your home address.Arko reminds me of the sticks my Grandpa and Dad used for a wet shave, looks oldy woldy and a bit 70s in which my husband likes.Very well packaged and no leaks, there is a distinctive scent, however my husband cannot say what it is, but likes it.So there is a choice of one stick costing £1.49 normally….£4.99 but on offer at review….However what is currently a good buy 12 sticks for £8.94, which individually sets you back a fantastic 74P each approx. We live in the middle of the country where the water is very hard, can cause havoc with dry skin. My husband was fed up with normal routine shaving gels, the prices are getting ridiculous, so looked on Amazon and read the reviews. As I mentioned at the top of my review, we have indeed purchased the Arko before, so I knew it was ok for my husbands sensitive skin.Last night and every other night my husband shaves, we bought a new brush also. The stick does lather up really well, so that every part of the face is evenly covered without gaps. Beautifully soft on the face, and gives a glorious shave with a proper razor + blades which I bought on Amazon.Being a hard water area I was surprised how the stick did froth up, wasn’t thin cream, but not too thick, just right for a good, clean cut shave. The skin afterwards was very soft and smelt divine.Brightens the skin upItem weight 75gsIn todays climate and constant price rises, this stick at the current offer price is excellent, you want a good close shave then Arko definitely delivers that… I shall continue with subscribe and save for this stick, unless the price goes up ridiculously..But currently my husband recommends.Just remember it is cheaper overall to but 12 as opposed to one at review.I haven’t given stars for ‘ flavour’ as obviously no one eats the stick, so I assume it means ‘scent’, in which case, that would be 5* also.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you

Does a good job and great value.
Won't last as long as a soap in a bowl. It's just a soap stick wrapped in foil. Peel back the foil, wet face and soapstick and you're good to go. Does a good job and I would recommend and reorder. Very Good value.

Takes me back to when I was a boy in the 1960s
I purchased this for use when travelling, as it doesn't take up to much room in your shaving bag. When I first used it, the scent reminded me of when I was a boy, and my Dad was having a shave. I really like this brand, it gives a excellent lather, as a very nice scent, and after shaving it leaves my face feeling very nice. This will be my go to shaving soap from now on.

Great old fashioned wet shave again.
Excellent old fashioned soap stick. Much better than foam, gels etc…. Use a nice brush and get a great shave. Have reordered , however they last a long time and are inexpensive with no waste. Stupid of the main manufacturers to discontinue their sticks - more profit in expensive foam I guess.

Good Shave - let down by smell
It gives a really good close shave, much better than the gloop that comes out of an aerosol can. Some people say it smells of lemons but all I can smell is a tallow fatty smell. I can see how some people might like is as it's quite a macho sort of smell but for me its just way too strong.Yes its cheap and makes for a good shave but that's it and the smell puts me off quite a bit. I don't want to be followed around by cats, dogs and foxes all day long!

The best shave stick I've tried.
In 40+ years of shaving, this gives the smoothest shave of all the products I've tried over the years. I've used nothing else since finding out about it 4 or 5 years ago. I use a Feather safety razor and the mix of the two gives amazing results. Even using a cheap Lidl cartridge razor, the shave is still very good. Can't recommend this shave stick highly enough.

Nice and creamy, good value, but strong scent!
Really like this shaving soap! Gets nice and creamy easily, and seems to have a good longevity. Not great for travel but not awful - would just need a waterproof container to put it in. Only complaint is the smell - very strong soap smell. Not a bad smell but if you’ve got a nice cologne on it’s possible the soap will overpower it For this reason I will probably try a couple others once this one is done, but over all I think it’s a great, creamy shaving soap and at a good value.
