This potty was exactly what he needed, it comes up high enough the front to stop any spills and its nice and high up the back for comfort. Doesn't seem it when you first look at it but when he sat on it, it was perfect. First time using it was a success! so easy to remove the green pot for cleaning too. 'where the hell did that come from!' Clearly yound kids have the ability to also pass a something the size of a small child through a tiny hole! Mother nature eh! 😊 Easy surfaces to clean. Useful having the 2 different colours when customising the potty with stickers. Only stick on the white areas, simple! Our boy loves it now he has a few of his own stickers on it. Now he just needs to learn to read so he has something else to do during his epic big dumps that seem to last as long as the Lord of the Rings special edition! (Just like Daddy! My boy!) I bought this for my grandson and on trying it out, just to sit on, he wriggled about and nipped his skin between the main part of the potty and the removable inner part. He was very upset so it was never used after that. I bought him a Pourty potty, which I WOULD recommend - comfortable and very easy to empty. **Q: What is the hight of the actual seat - part the child sits on?** A: It's difficult to be accurate as the seat part is shaped, but the height of the seat is about 15cm. I bought this for my grandson to use in my home, but after his skin was nipped between the removable part and the main part as he got up from trying it out, I bought a one piece potty. It upset him (& me) a lot. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this potty. He also thought it was fun to grab the inner part and throw it up in the air. The height is good for a toddler of 1. 5 to 3 years, its not too low, it has a comfortable enough back rest to support the child and quite importantly the pan is deep enough to hold the waste without for want of a better description messing the child's bottom. Having the removable inner pan is great as it is not bulky, its small enough to hold with one hand, the angled chute is well designed and allows for a swift and mess free exit of the waste and its easy to clean.
