Review: Lovely Bag - I bought this bag originally 5 years ago and only just bought a new one so I find it does really last. Thick material and good faux leather straps. It's not waterproof but I just bought a cover for it. I find it stores a reasonable amount but not quite a average sized laptop. The straps have a magnetic bit underneath them so you don't have to unbuckle them everytime you want to get into the bag so it's easy to use if you have dexterity issues. Looks cute and I add patches and badges to mine, worth the money.

I searched for some sort of haversack rucksack that was strong canvas and I found this one. I was not disapointed. The material is very strong and durable, it just needs a waterproofing spray on it. The straps on the main flap are extremely strong magnet closures, which can pretty much support the back when full if you suspend it from the flap. The pockets are metal zips and very secure, plus there's a hidden pocket against your back with zip fastening. Inside the bag is a pull closure at the top, as well as a laptop pocket and several organiser pockets. Many more than I anticipated. Very happy with this. It looks old, it's good and sturdy so will last for years, plus it is made of biodegradable cotton canvas and leather, so it'll be better for the environment at the end of its life. Definetly worth the money.

**Q: Will this fit a 15.6 laptop?**
A: Yes. I have a 17inch laptop (or 16... whichever one has the full numerical keypad. It’s the biggest anyway) and just about fits with only the corners visible under the main flap.

**Q: What’s the litre capacity?**
A: I think the the bag is less than 15 litres, as I asked a colleague at my work place about his bag and his is bigger than this one. The information I read on the Amazon description was 22 litres, although I haven't tried to test it, pack fair amount in the bag, if this answer helps any.

**Q: Can the side pockets be easily used as water bottles or will they not stay in there? I really like this bag but there's no bottle holders**
A: It depends on the size of your bottle as to whether or not they would stay in the outside pockets.  I bought this for my grand daughter.  She was into dinosaurs etc, and this bag fitted what she wanted.  She put her bottle of water inside, when she went "exploring" in the woods for dinosaurs.

A: I’m exactly the same with backpacks, but I bought this one anyway a couple of weeks ago because I thought it looked really nice. It’s spacious inside, and the side pockets when unzipped can hold a 500ml bottle of water. Any larger bottles will need to go inside the main part of the bag. A couple of days after receiving this backpack I went out for a walk with my partner and child, and it held all water bottles (1 in the side PPs let, 2 in the main part) and all of our picnic things really comfortably. Worth noting that while all these things made the bag heavy, the straps were really comfortable

It looks a nice bag just the right size without being too big or heavy. I did find if the straps are lose fit they tend to slide off my shoulders but worth the money
