Product description Gavottes are delicate, crispy, buttery French biscuits with a hint of caramel. Based on a recipe dating back to 1888 in Brittany, France, crepes gavottes are a traditional French biscuit. When Marie-Catherine Cornic accidentally left one of her crêpes cooking for too long, she created the first gavotte. She chose to fold and roll it before eating it, and she was pleased with the biscuit's crunchy texture. They are delicious on their own, with tea or coffee, or can be used for baking as a crunchy texture. These 120 individually wrapped portions of 2 biscuits, which come in a lovely metal tin, are perfect as gifts or as a treat for oneself! Ingredients: WHEAT flour, sugar, concentrated butter (MILK) 9%, LACTOSE and MILK proteins, salt, barley malt extract, raising agent: sodium carbonates. Contains: SOYA. **Q: What is the expiration date?**
A: The tin I currently have was purchased in July, it was produced in June 21 and expires in June 22. The dates are shown on a side of the tin just above the barcode.

**Q: What is the expiration date?**
A: The exp date shown on my tin was 12 months ahead but, as I really like them, I had 2 per day with a cup of coffee so they lasted for 60 days. During that time they all remained perfectly crisp and I'm sure they would for much longer. Just make sure you keep the lid tight shut on the tin.
