Very strong smell!!! I soak it for 2days in filtered water with Lemons in my refrigerator. Then rinse with filtered water, and blend with a little water or pineapple juice and some lemon. Makes a beautiful gel in my vitamix. The smell is still pungent and the taste alone TO ME is horrible! BUT when I put 1/4c in my big smoothie for our family of 6 we CANNOT TASTE IT a bit!!! I am doing my best to drink some everyday. After about a month, I am no longer taking my thyroid suppliment, I am no longer taking iron, and I have WAY more energy and feel like myself again. I 100% give the credit to the Lord and I fully believe He has used this to do it. My bowels are working better. There are so many things that are functioning better than they have in a long time! I would HIGHLY recommend this to women who have thyroid issues!! Please give it a try for about a month (or maybe ask your doc) and just see if there is a difference! Blueberry hides the taste well, coffee does not in my opinion. Also just for fair warning there are eggs(?) on some of the leaves (?)
