Our Tradition: The Wearing of Our Hats, Our Crowns As I look through every moment of our history, we as Black women have worn hats. We have marched in them, we "sat-in" them and we worship in them. I remember my aunt wearing a baby pink pillbox with tiny silk flowers all over the hat, just to go to the market. I remember the First Lady of our church in a different hat every Sunday. I remember the first white hat my mother ever bought at the hat shop on Central Avenue. These are my remembrances. That which inspires me. And although hats change in shape and size over the years, one thing remains the same: Our love for them. They are our hats to hold on to ... Harriet Rosebud

Very please with my purchase. These hats came out years ago and I was unaware at that time. Once I found out about them - I just had to collect as many of them as I possibly could - of course at a reasonable price. Over the years the price had gone up because they were discontinued - and I just had to have them. So I shopped on line 'til I found the most that I was willing to pay and I found it. I am very please with getting it because I really love these hats. Will continue to look for other hats I donot have in my collection and also hope to be able to obtain these at a reasonable price also. Love that I started this collection. These are just so unique. Love love love them.

A waste of money
I have never purchased a hat, however I did purchase the gold feathered accessories from her website. The product is of poor quality, feathers missing,, and does not come close to what is presented on the website. I only put one star, because there is not an option for no star at all.
