In order to make it work, I did have to take it to a seamstress to alter both the waistline to shorten it and still keep the split ruffle which was very flattering on my short frame. I also had to have the bodice lined since it was sheer lace, and I’m uncomfortable with that. That cost me as much as the dress, but since it was for my son’s wedding, it was still a very affordable option. The 4 stars is really for the quality of the zipper. It was sticky to begin with. I’m not sure how long it will hold up.
