It’s printed on heavyweight paper so I fully expect it to withstand repeated handling and be durable. I bought this book for my godson’s second birthday. He’s a book lover already and I’m confident he’ll enjoy studying the illustrations, if little else at his age. On the other hand, I’m sure this volume will give him further encouragement in learning to read, with his parents’ support. This is the sort of book that will appeal to a young child but one he will treasure as he matures, learns to read and gains more and more from it in the course of time. I opened the book on receipt for a cursory examination but was quickly hooked and still reading it an hour later. It’s a pity there were no reference books of this scope and quality when I was young. I can wholeheartedly recommend it for dinosaur lovers of all ages. I’ll update this review when I receive feedback from my godson and his parents. Beautifully laid out pages, colourful and engaging, full of interesting facts and information. My son loves this book and dips in and out of it regularly, reading a page or so at a time on each featured dinosaur.
