Does it have plenty of reflective material on the rear?** A: Yes, the same amount of reflective material is on the back as the front **Q: Does iPhone 12 Pro Max fit?** A: If you mean does it fit inside the inner zip pocket then yes any phone will fit as it's quite a reasonable size, but won't hold too many heavy items as it is still the netting type material. **Q: does this fit over a rucksack while cycling for a medium sized man, when choosing X large?** A: I wouldn't try this tbh, better to get a specific rucksack reflective cover and this one to fit you. I'm a decent size and I use the XL in the winter as it then fits over my padded jacket, but is then fairly snug. The pocket is at the front and you will struggle to put one of the newer phones on the market in the pocket, especially of the smaller sized vests. The pocket should be standard size throughout the range too. Lastly, with a phone in the front the vest does pull to the front a lot so I ended up wearing it backwards.
