It was rubbish with the standard stick-on windscreen aerial so I hoped this would improve things as I miss DAB since switching cars. It's quite a dinky little thing, and it's difficult to assess its success as the adapter is so bad it's virtually unusable, the aerial made little difference and I've since junked the adapter but kept the aerial in place for the time being. Was a pig to fit properly (running from back of car to front in roof space) so I'm leaving in situ whilst I search for other adapters. ### ⭐ Looks good... *by 5***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 August 2021* Yep, it looks good; nice and discreet, but as a DAB antenna it's actually worse than useless! That is apparently possible with this aerial as the cable picks up more than the aerial itself! Unscrew the "aerial" part leaving just the base with the cable attached and more stations are received! Figure that one out.Either way, with or without the aerial element attached its useless, as all you hear, if you receive anything at all, is burbling, squeaking and warbling, from even the strong stations.But hey, it still looks good! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needs a bigger base/stronger magnet. *by M***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2019* I bought a DAB radio for the car and bought this aerial as a part of a bundle. Works well on the roof - not as good in the car, eg in boot. Decent long cable which goes from the rear of the car to front with spare. I’ve threaded mine through the boot (hatchback) and the boot shuts fine. My only gripe is the magnet base could be bigger. I’ve positioned mine next to my fitted external aerial and have used plastic wire ties to tie the aerials together. I’ve used one tie at the moment and the aerial still fell over in high wind so going to try another tie further up. Hopefully this will stop it falling. Otherwise good product for the price.
