I bought the XL in this skirt knowing it might be a little too small based off the size chart. The material is very stiff but good quality fabric and seams. I slide the skirt on and it just fit, barely though. It was a little uncomfortable to wear at first but the more I wore it around the house, the more the fabric relaxed and felt decent. I still think it's a tad too small for me but true to the American Apparel size chart.
