This knife, is no exception.Is the knife worth the price tag of $50.00? Absolutely. It's construction is sturdy but remarkably light. It feels great in the hand giving the operator precise and tight control. It is also full tang. Meaning the blade length goes through the handle, giving the knife excellent durability and powerful cutting capabilities. The blade is EXTREMELY sharp out of the box. I am a very experienced knife user and the edge is hair popping sharp. Be extremely cautious when using this knife at all times as one wrong move can put you in the hospital.In conclusion, this knife offers all of the components I require when purchasing a cutting tool. Quality construction and materials. Made in either Germany or the United States (and some Japanese knives as well..), smooth ergonomics, cutting performance and durability.
