**Q: this is replace a failed identical one that has plastic thread - will this one be ok as a replacement with brass thread ?**
A: Cannot see any reason why not. The threads are the same.

**Q: hi, will this fill fast enough on a gravity fed system. I have found that some can take over 4 minutes to fill without mains pressure?**
A: Rather a late reply but I have just fitted one to a mains pressure supply. However, for < 1 Bar inlet pressure ie. header tank I suggest reading the instructions which come with it. This illustrates trimming the filter restrictor which is inserted into the threaded tail water inlet. Also read the instructions re adjusting the "float basin" height to the water line. There is a YouTube video which shows how its done.
