I could see the dust being drawn into the machine including a down feather that I threw in the direction of the purifier. Setting 1 is so quiet its unreal and yet still manages to suck in the dust inlcluding a single layer tissue I made into a strip to test the effectiveness of the low setting, thats what I call fit for purpose. The spare filter is between 30 and 40 pounds online, thats the only snag. However am prepared to pay that amount once or twice in a year dependent on frequency of use. The unut is slightly bigger than a shoe box as seen in the attached photo. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong plug + useless adapter *by P***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 November 2022* The UK plug just fell off. It wasndevice arrived w German plug, sent from Berlin, which would not fit into the UK plug sent. The German plug was too wide for the hole in the so-called adapter. It was essentially empty - nothing to grip the German plug.I reported it and got inappropriate response from Berlin! I had thought it was coming from Klarstein.co.uk. (Klarstein is not a British registered company.)I resonded to email with a note, description and photo - and a week later hadn't received a reply. I sent another email explaining it all again. And again - no response.It seemed ridiculous to return it for want of the right plug,but I did try but Amazon wanted to charge me about £3 to do so. Absolutely outrageous. I am not paying to return a faulty device froma company that hasn't the coutesy to respond to what I write, check their packing dept and realise that it is thier problem.I haev now bought an adapter - that fits, but I've yet to test it. Not sure if I'll believe it if it seems to work. Small drawback is the lights are quite bright in the bedroom at night. However that is a small price to pay, and it is incredibly quiet on low setting, provides rather comforting, sleep inducing 'white noise' at medium setting, and on full power (preferably in another room!) you really feel it's doing a thorough job. I liked it so much I bought a second one for upstairs and one for my daughter who finds it helps with sleep.
