It feels very substantial and the combination dials work perfectly. I don't know why other people have had a problem, but I was able to change the combination without difficulty and definitely could not tell what it was just by pulling on the lock and rotating the dials. I've bought this padlock because my last one that was not as heavy duty was broken into with bolt cutters. I hope that this one will withstand a similar attack, but until (hopefully not) that happens I can't comment on it's strength. ### ⭐ Not a good product. *by L***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2019* So far I have received 3 faulty locks and now I’m left out of date for the return policy and still with a faulty lock. The barrel on this lock and the mechanism stick and seize up both of which makes the lock becomes unusable. There must be other locks on the market at this price which work. This is the most disappointing product I’ve ever bought. My advice is purchase a different lock to this one. ### ⭐ Padlocks opened by thiefs. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2020* I puchased 2 padlocks last May expecting them to be thief proof. Found out this morning that both padlocks (different combinations had been set on each one) had been unlocked by a thief. To cap it all, the padlocks had also been stolen. No signs of cutting or brute force was used, but somehow the thiefs had managed to unlock them.Up to now I had been very happy with the locks, but clearly they can be opened by thiefs.
