Review: Very sturdy cane - I have bought 2piece canes before and they always snapped or didn’t meet together quite right, so when my new cane arrived I thought it was a one piece and not a 2 piece. Put it together and it joined perfectly, it feels and looks solid and is quite heavy compared to others I have had, used it for about a month now and i am very pleased with it, had to cut it down a little as it was long for a short person like me and put a rubber bung on the end. Now looking for another one as well to keep me happy.

A: The brass handle comes with the stick.  You can purchase alternate handles.

**Q: Can this walking stick be shortened easily?  Thirty seven inches is way too ling for me.**
A: sorry not easily,  there are threaded brass inserts were the stick joins and at the top then a brass bottom cap.  In addition the whole stick is tapered from top to bottom so a cut at any point is going to stick out like a sore thumb.

**Q: Does this make you look old, and can this be used for fashion purposes? To be specific, a "classy man" fashion attire?**
A: This is a beautiful walking stick. I purchased for a theatrical production and was impressed by the quality and look. It’s sturdy enough for someone needing a bit of steadying in their walk but it is really a fashion accessory.... and a nice accessory at that.

**Q: Sheesh, "medium" is not a bolt size. The bolt size has two components, the diameter and the thread count, in addition to the length.  What is it?**

For £15.99 delivered next day to my door what's not to like . The brass cast head is good enough sitting on a solid feeling timber , a good weight and stylish. However , what have they done with the rubber ferule , it is far too lightweight and poorly secured. A great pity it spoils an otherwise brilliant product. I bought this mainly for decorative purposes , if I actually walked with it I would have to do something about the tip.
