I didn't feel like holding a full bottle upside down in boiling water. One video featured a bearded guy wearing a T-shirt in his garage. He simply took his channellock pliers and muscled the cap off, destroying the locking tabs in the process which allows subsequent hand removals. THIS is the no-nonsense way to take off a cap designed not to be taken off. Now I have an economical floor cleaning spray with a great scent that I use with reusable microfiber mop pads on a flat mop. Worked out very well for me. ツ LIFEHACK: All out of wet mopping cloths for your Swiffer Sweeper? You can sub regular dry sweeping cloths. They work well with this spray method for quick clean-ups, without the usual dripping mess of attaching a wet cloth. When I feel too lazy to bother with cleaning/washing a microfiber mop head, I just slap a dry sweeping cloth on my sweeper and simply spray 'n mop...toss in the trash. Easy-breezy! Great for smaller jobs.
