The book is beautifully presented and the articles are broad enough to appeal to a variety of model makers of ships. My interest is old steamers, but I have thoroughly enjoyed all the articles. I have just ordered the earlier editions! There's something interesting in nearly every article. About the only fault I can think of is that some drawings span two pages, so the gutter makes them difficult to use for taking measurements. The book says the drawings are available on the website, but I've been unable to find them. But this s a minor quibble & shouldn't stop anyone interested in model ships from getting these books.
