I have short hair. You could just squirt it on your hands and rub it in, leave 5 min and wash out. I squirt it onto an ordinary comb and comb it in. This way the tube lasts for about 4 applications. Thnks** A: yes after 3 weeks changes a bit the colour and you need to colour it again **Q: Can this product be used on white hair** A: Hi peterMy hair is white and I use it every 4 to 5 weeks. The sides usually stay mostly white but the top takes the colour well. I have used this product for more than 5 years and no one ever noticed or commented about colouring. One hint is that I do not use the applicator. Instead I squeeze some colour on the top and use a comb. As for the sides and back I squeeze colour on the hair and brush with an old tooth brush. Certain areas on the back I squeeze directly on the tooth brush and work it through.Ray **Q: I have quite short hair, is this a waste of time for short hair? also what happens if you get this stuff on your skin, does it wash out?** A: Its better if you have short hair,i have short hair and you only need a small amount of dye. Put equal amounts from the two bottles in to a plastic mixing container use a desert spoon to measure this. Mix well together and apply to your hair. If you get any dye on your forehead or anywhere just wipe it off with a wet wipe . Wait 5 minutes only , lather up like you would if you were shampooing and rinse out. It may stain your fingers if you don't wear plastic gloves . No one notices it - unlike the others where you either go from 'white' hair' to the 'black hair.' This is really subtle. Even my wife has not picked up on it. 3. Easy to apply. I have a military 'flat top,' and hence, the tube does for two [2] applications. 4. Instructions state that you use the supplied 'plastic gloves' to 'apply.' Don't bother - the product does not 'stain' your hands making it easier to massage it thoroughly through your hair. 5. Is there a negative? A wee one. You need to apply [repeat] it every couple of weeks and it's not that cheap.
