Alpha Armur Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Wide/Narrow Mouth

This is the second vacuum bottle I have purchased. The other one is nice, but I have found that it is too big (35 oz) for how I use it. This 20 ounce container is the perfect size! I tote it around with me all day, refilling it with ice and water as needed. I was a little concerned about how water tight the lid would be. After a number of time laying on its side I have no fears - it has not leaked at all.I am also impressed with the cold retention. The other day I left it in the car, in a parking lot, in the sun, while I went to an appointment. 90 minutes later I returned to the car. The interior was so hot that my IPhone (which I had also left) said it had to cool off before it would work. The outside of the bottle was hot. However when I unscrewed the cap the ice water was delightfully cold.

Overall, a pretty good insulated water bottle. For the first two months of ownership, it worked really well. I would fill up the bottle with ice water in the mornings before work, and I would still have a little ice left the next morning if I didn't finish it all. Just recently, I've noticed my drinks aren't staying cool as long (3-4 hours) and now I can feel the outside of the water bottle is cold when I fill it up. This makes me think that the inside layer of the bottle broke and water is getting into the vacuum sealed layer significantly reducing the effectiveness of the bottle. I haven't fully inspected the bottle so I don't know for sure but if I had to guess, I would assume that were the problem.One other thing, I love how much water the 50 Oz bottle carries, but there isn't a great way to hold it because of the fact that it's so big. Often I'll stick a couple fingers into the loop that attaches to the cap and you'll have to re-secure the strap to the lid when you do this. Not much you can do about it but it's a downside of getting a bottle this big.I'll be investigating the bottle further to see if I can figure out the problem, but I'm disappointed that after 3 months, the bottle isn't keeping my drinks cold anymore.Long story short, a pretty good water bottle and it can carry a lot of liquids, but there might be an issue with longevity of use if my case is the norm.

Fantastic bottle, I like the included mouth piece/guard that keeps your ice from hitting your teeth. Speaking of ice this bottle will keep it for a crazy amount of time. I had filled it before I left for work, left it in my truck all day (I live in Phoenix, AZ) and when I got out of work there was still some ice in the bottle. My truck was parked outside, not under cover or even in the shade of a tree. So temps inside the truck can reach well over 140 degrees Ferinheight. My only complaint is the cap can get kind of slippery due to the chrome finish, this was solved by adding some hockey tape around it. Small enough issue that I'm not going to dock it a star at all. Highly recommended.

I am quite happy with this water bottle, I upgraded from a pretty cheap one and was please with the construction and the size of this water bottle along with it's ability to keep my water cool all day.The only slight gripe i have is that the Alpha Armur logo started coming off within a few days, I ended up completely wiping it off with an alcohol wipe because it looked terrible all smudged and half gone. I never put it in the dishwasher and only hand washed it once.Again it was a small gripe but so far that's the only thing i've found wrong with it.

Originally, I was reasonably happy with this product, but now I am very dissatisfied. The coating on the rubber o-ring in the lid is coming off. In less than 6 months of occasion use. As you can see, my coffee is ruined.
