Review: These books are not credible - I have the edition to 2014 and the edition to 2021. The newer version is a cut and paste of the old one up to 2012 where suddenly most of the ‘must see’ films disappear from 2012 (a year in which there are suddenly no films- Django was in the 2014 edition ) to make room for films that total to 1001 in recent years. Nothing before 2012 (even the artwork) changes. The films that are added only change the last few years. Jay Schneider cannot seriously think this an objective study from 1900

I have the edition to 2014 and the edition to 2021. The newer version is a cut and paste of the old one up to 2012 where suddenly most of the ‘must see’ films disappear from 2012 (a year in which there are suddenly no films- Django was in the 2014 edition ) to make room for films that total to 1001 in recent years. Nothing before 2012 (even the artwork) changes. The films that are added only change the last few years. Jay Schneider cannot seriously think this an objective study from 1900
