As recommended by the instructions (and because of playing with small children, 6 & 8) we started by playing on the political map with the large pyramids and with the easy questions, and even though me and my wife have very good geographical knowledge there was still a good number of questions where we had no idea of the answer, so there is plenty to learn for the adults. The easy questions were of course harder for the children, but they were relevant enough for their level of knowledge that they could make some educated guesses (with some hints provided here and there). And because the game has a mechanism which can punish just blindly copying other people, but also makes sure that people don't fall too far behind, it was a fun and satisfying game for everyone. I'd say this game can be fun for any group of people, even groups of adults, but I think it's especially great for teaching children more about the world. If you are more than 4 players, you can play as teams, which is even the more interesting. I find that 4 players is more fun especially when three players decide to follow the first that got the answer wrong:) There are 8 playing pieces of two sizes. You use the larger pieces when you are learning and you don't have to be very precise. When you get more comfortable, you can use the smaller pieces to pinpoint the precise location you are looking for.
