WOWThis product was advertised as soft and stretchy, but I couldn't imagine just how comfortable it was till I wore it. It is very easy to put on because of its perfectly elastic balance. It is stretchy and long enough to wear, but still holds its shape when it is on your neck. It tucks snugly around the base and top of your neck, eliminating air pockets and properly insulates the region. It is super soft and a pleasure to wear. The stitching on the inside doesn't irritate the neck and the product itself looks very nice. It is warm. I often find myself wearing it on top of a hoodies because it protects an area of the neck that is often exposed.Personally, I would wear this over a scarf. It has a very athletic look to it so if you are interested in enhancing a sportish outfit, this could be you final piece. At first I didn't know if this was good or not, but I actually tried both this neck gator and a shorter one also. This one was far superior because it was much longer, which allowed me to tuck further under my hoodie and seal in more warmth- Pretty tight. It definitely will be secure if you use it to cover your mouth/ears as it is pretty small with good stretch. It's not very easy to breathe through, but you can breathe through it.I didn't want to spend an arm and leg on something like this so for my usage it's fine.
