Just watch out for the black paint of the sticks as it gives your drum skins a slick dalmatian look even with light usage. There is a white edition for these sticks though. The recipient was really pleased with them. My husband is also a drummer and was concerned that I had purchased celebrity sticks, but on feeling them he said "they felt pretty good actually, suprisingly!"
