Prompt delivery, well designed and made.
Had a very noisy electric kettle, this is a welcome replacement for the gas hob range. As it's devoid of limescale right now, it has made my herbal teas taste sooo much better. Seems very sturdy and looks good.

Smart black shiny finish
Very quick delivery from Amazon directly.A nice kettle that looks good and works well on our AGA. You don't have to have the whistle working, you can move it up or down on a little handle. Smart looking.

Nice looking!
Nice and sturdy design. One major minus is that the whistle doesn't fully open and you have to open the top lid to fill up.

Buyer Beware
I bought this kettle 3 months ago having read all the positive reviews on Amazon about it. Initially I was pleased with my kettle when it arrived but then I noticed black flecks floating around in the water. On closer inspection of the interior of the kettle it showed that the coating on the interior was peeling off. I am very disappointed and expected much higher quality than this. Goodness knows how long this has been happening as I have only recently noticed this. I am concerned about the possible health risks to myself and my family and how long we have been ingesting this material. And then the handle has come off now. I am sending it back and expect a full refund. I will not be having another as I am concerned that this will happen again. Prestige should consider recalling this product in my opinion if this has happened to other customers.

Well designed safe attractive kettle with a clear whistle
The Prestige Whistling enamel kettle is perfect in every way. You may think what's the big deal? Well over years my experience has been as follows:: I have tried various kettles over a long time. The main problem is that the whistle sound is unclear and gets worse as used more often. The other problem is that the separate whistle type either shoots it off across the room as steam pressure builds to boiling OR if the whistle has been pushed on too firmly it is difficult to remove for pouring. Either problem has the added lack of safety issue. Only too easy to scald oneself when removing the tight whistle. I have scalded myself twice! I have also "lost" 2 whistles due to putting down somewhere between uses. I can only think they rolled off worktop into a bin. The Prestige has an attached whistle that is easy to flip open with an insulated "frame". It has a separate lid to remove for filling the kettle. No need to touch when hot!

Reasonable kettle
The kettle looks nice. However the enamel is not very strong. Some soon got chipped off. The handle got very loose in a couple of weeks and needed tightening up. A good loud whistle and pours reasonably well. Slow to boil on an Aga.

Great size and weight. Boils as expected.
Great kettle. Nice weight and size. Lid comes off easily (unlike my last one that need a god awful amount of force) . The only small issues is I need to be very careful of excess water spraying out the spout if I have left it to whistle and whistle. I do not believe this is a design fault but due to the high pressure steam created when kettle is left to effectively over boil. If i catch it as just before it whistles or as it whistle this does not happen. Hoping to get a long time of use from this stove top kettle.

Spout doesn't pour well
I need to pour the water into a flask which is impossible with this kettle. I have to fill a jug first then pour the water into the flask from that.It also splashes everywhere when filling cups, and I have to turn it right up on end to get all the water out, and if you aren't careful when doing this the steam can be hot on your hands.Disappointed as it looks quite nice.
