Its the first foam mattress I have had, so I am unable to compare it to any other foam mattress. It feels totally different to a 'spring' mattress and compared to my 'old' spring mattress, actually feels harder/firmer in that there is less give or bounce in it, but it is incredible comfortable to sleep on. It supports my entire body without feeling hard, it's more like my feeling cushioned and supported. I do feel that body heat is reflected back from the mattress, but to be honest haven't felt uncomfortable even during this long hot summer. The quality and price are amazing, I did have a lie down, in store, on a well known branded foam mattress (which would have cost £2000+) and personally don't think there is any significant difference between it and this mattress in terms of comfort - just a massive difference in price!The mattress I ordered was by due to be 'fulfilled by Amazon'. 10 days after ordering I received an email stating it was no longer in stock. No explanation as to why the delay in notifying me. As I had bookmarked the web page, a quick check showed it could be ordered direct from the manufacturer for the same price. It then took approx. 8 days from re-ordering to arrive. My advice is if you can unroll the mattress directly onto the bed, its easier. Mine took a couple of hours to re-inflate, though I didn't sleep on it for a couple of nights to ensure it had returned to its original condition. There was very little odour from the mattress. The 2 free pillows offer excellent comfort and support, mine measured approx 80cm x 38cm (my mattress was 160cm x 200cm), so a perfect width for the bed. These sizes are different to std UK sizes. I think thats about all: I don't have any health problems, so can't comment on any beneficial effects from using this mattress and I'm about 5ft 8 tall and weigh 11st 7lb. I sleep really well on this mattress and would definitely recommend it. I'm a heavy 16 stone woman with an 18 stone partner and I sware none of them would have lasted us more than 6 months! I decided that the depth was the most important bit and Simpur seemed to be the only brand that were 30cm. The hardest bit was deciding between the mattresses! Anyway, we ordered and had drama because my hubby ordered one that was too small! (Men! He had 1 job!) After a colourful exchange and the threat of divorce I reordered as it was gonna be too expensive to send back especially un rolled! That King sized one is on ebay now and I re-ordered the correct size!Came faster than the 1st one and yes it fits! Bought 190x180 at £290 not the £1200 that other brands wanted! We have had it a few days now and I'm so pleased! Both my hubby and I have had our sleep improve, my aches when I get up are greatly reduced, and I'm not waking as often. The mattress is thick and sturdy, and although it's firm I can feel my big ol butt sinking into the memory foam which is very comfy! Great for watching TV and reading! Great buy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mattress, solid quality, amazing price: happy customer! *by H***O on 18 April 2018* Very comfortable, no chemical smell on opening, amazingly good price (included 2 free pillows). It's firm but very supportive. It has a slight element of that memory foam marshmallow feel to it but very slight. You rest atop it, rather than sink into it (I weigh about 12 stone). I've slept on it for 3 nights and wake feeling significantly more comfortable and refreshed (no lower back ache). I've bought another one for a family member already. The only concern is that if you are thinking about a memory foam mattress, go into a shop and ask to try a medium firm one first.
