Not the first Jack Canfield book I bought but a huge thank you to him for this one! *by L***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 August 2012* I too have read The Secret and I am now reading The Power and will then read The Magic. The results are so great that I will take as much of this stuff as I can get.The Secret outlines the way that the Law of Attraction works but largely leaves you to work out your own ways to implement it into your life. I know that is a difficult concept to accept but now I just wish I'd got the book the first time it was ever mentioned to me.This book is brilliant because it is packed with ideas on how to make it work in your every day life. I did what it said in the book and wonderful things keep happening to me. I have overcome the limiting outlook I had and although I am still just renting a flat at the age of 49 and am on a debt management plan I have reinstated my dream to own several holiday cottages in Somerset!I only embarked upon it having learned about the reticular activating system, believing that this is what is behind it all. I believed that any opportunities that came my way would always have been there but that I wouldn't have recognised them without working hard on what it is I want in life and then that part of my brain would pick up on these things.But over the last few weeks I have decided that there is a lot more to do with it than that!And, at the end of the day, even if we didn't get what we asked for, if you follow Jacks advice you will find that it is a great way to keep you positive, grateful, appreciative and happy!!!! So you win anyway!I would just say to anyone who has known about this idea and chosen to ignore it: Get into it right NOW! Order the books and start working on it. I am a driving instructor at the moment and have been since 1994 and I enjoy my job. But although I now don't see myself doing it for too much longer work is even more pleasurable for me now. The exercises are helpful in making choices about our lives and what we may want from life. It brings together basic suggestions from many other 'Self Help' books in a short compact version. I've enjoyed reading many 'Self Help' books including, Louise L Hay:'I can heal your life' (brilliant), Shakli Gawain:'Positive Visualization'(brilliant), Deepak Chopra: '7 Laws of Success'(brilliant). 'The Secret'(very good), Esther & Jerry Hicks(dreadful) and many more similar books, most of which I have learned to try to look at life more positively and through doing so, in spite of some of the horendous things that life has thrown at me, I have learned and still am learning to accept and love the simple things in nature and life. 'The Key to Living the Law of Attraction' is easy to read and contains shortened good cherry picked ideas from a variety of others similar books. If anyone wishes to expand upon any of the ideas, try some of my suggestions but avoid the long winded, boring, boring E&J Hicks/Abrahams. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect book to read after the Secret *by F***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2015* I bought this book because I am going through a terrible period in my life. First I read The Secret but when times get really tough you need constant inspiration not to let the mood turn into negativity so while browsing through Amazon I came across this book. My first impression was bad: too many repetitions, not much substance but as I continued reading (I am not the type of person who gives up on a book without first reading it from cover to cover… I even read cookbooks). As I read on I started to discover more and more additions to The Secret and also very important exercises. Just before I finished reading it I had ordered one for someone who has become a dear friend of mine through this ordeal and I hope that it will arrive soon.The thing with living the Law of Attraction is that you need to be constantly reminded of it and in the beginning it is easy to fall back into your old ways so keep reading, keep watching Youtube videos, find out if that is a Law of Attraction Group where you live….. I have now vowed to start my own Facebook page on the subject where I can review books, inspire others and get inspired by them! This is a very powerful book and I am about to start reading another of Jack Canfield’s books …… which I hope won’t be a repetition of this one but when I bought them I didn’t see the they both were written by the same person. I am now making a list of 101 goals I want to fulfil during my lifetime (I am almost 58 but there is still plenty of time), I think that I have finally figured out my purpose in life (funny enough something I never thought that I was cut out to do) and much more. As Martin Luther King Jr. said: “Just take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step!”. And as Jack Canfield says at the end of the book…. “This is the key to unlocking the Law of Attraction. This is the key to your future!”, and I will add: May this be the key to a very bright future for your benefit and the benefit of all beings!!!! And if people tell you that is it all rubbish? Let them… we can’t change them but we can change ourselves and through all this very trying time I found out that there were a lot of people in my life I have no use for whatsoever and hopefully those who are left over and the new people I have come to know are very precious in making me into who I am and whom I want to be!
