We use them as treat/special rewards. We tend to give 1-2 depending on the situation. Obviously the length of time a bag will last, depends on how frequently you intend to use them. We needed to really control dental issues (we adopted both dogs as seniors & with major dental problems which need medical intervention first), so we now use Plaque Off Dental Care Bones daily. Is it suitable?** A: There are two difference packets. One for small dogs and cats. The other small dogs only. The one that includes cats is often out of stock so I did use the dogs only one for my cat. The pieces are larger. That is the only difference but unless your cat has any teeth missing or dental problems they are fine. However the price kept going up to ridiculous levels for these so I now buy Plaque X which you sprinkle a small scoop (provided) over wet food once a day. It lasts for ages, is much cheaper and cat loves it.
