I've only had to buy 3 packs because I have a wound situation on my back that was originally assisted. They cleaned it out at the hospital packed. It sent me home, but didn't send me home with the antibiotic so now I have an infection and bacteria all over the hardware in my back (I have rode in my back) and because of the infection and bacteria, it will not heal so I'm on a heavy duty anabiotic until I can get into surgery so in the meantime, I've been using these to try to keep it closed and as tight as I can while I'm on the anabiotic. I highly recommend these and if you want to get in the water and you don't want to worry about any type of an infection you can buy new skin the stuff they put on new tattoos. We live on the water and I love to go out on the boat, but I will not get in that water with this open wound so I will use this Band-Aid and then I will take a large piece of the new skin.
