I just wash it immediately after use with soap and really hot water, and if there's any food trapped, I use the bottle brush and it all comes out. What I received was a sassy teether feeder. One with no extra bags. I chatted with amazon and they were apologetic and sent out a second item free of charge. I feared the item would be wrong again but I was assured it would be the correct item. The second shipment was the same as the first- wrong item again. Now I have two feeders but they are the wrong style and no extra bags.
