Pros: - not overly expensive imo (albeit 5x more than the 2 quid one) - beautiful wood grain - thicker and sturdier, which is fantastic for scraping our cast iron, enamelled cast iron and carbon steel pots and pans - slight curve which means it’s great for flipping eggs Cons: - not dishwasher safe - need to oil it once every few months depending on use (I use Howard cutting board oil) - not recommended to leave it soaking in water (although I’ve done this a couple times by accident and nothing has happened, so nothing oiling can’t fix!)
