Review: Up to now.. LOVE THEM - First picture is a size comparison with a JBL Partybox 100.. Only just got them today. I’ve had allot of speakers in my time and one thing that I didn’t expect is when you walk away from the speaker the volume doesn’t seem to drop at all. It’s strange at first but brilliant. Love the listening angle also. Just waiting for a Behringer NX6000D now as I’m using a Gemini XGA-5000 but powers them ok for 14x14ft bedroom😂 a couple of things to note however. 1. When close to the speaker they don’t seem to have much bass until you move away from them. Maybe it’s the position of them or the size of my room but just be aware of that. 2. These things are the most awkward heaviest speakers I’ve ever owned , seriously it took 2 of us to move them and I genuinely think I’ve done my back in. 3. One of them had no sound when I first hooked them to my amp so I switched wires tired everything but randomly started working. Could be that I have quite thin gauge Speakon wires but I still find it a little strange. Sound quality is very well balanced which honestly I didn’t expect. I have some old Mackie PACX81 speakers made in Italy and they sound really good but these sound better! Build quality seems really good. No rattles and cabinet/grille seems well made. I’ll update this review if I have any issues but for now I highly recommend these , I can only recommend for home use as I don’t do gigs etc and you need quite a powerful amp for them. If you have the cash And room for them GET THEM! Well worth £278 each
Review: great sounding speaker - as it says on the box the low frequences are nice and has a great thump action . i use these now for my disco and my god do they make the bass incredible .with a solid punch . as with other reviews i have read on here and other sites before buying them i have noticed you can not feel the punch they deliver close up but at about 10 foot away and beyond you can feel the bass and hear the incredible sound . great for disco great for outdoor events . they say they are 1600 watts with 400 rms but you can bang a lot more threw this subwoofer . bit heavy for one person but with a trolley not a problem for one man . great build and design . i cant say anything bad about them .

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this work in home?**
A: To be quite honest no they are far to big for the home, nearly a washing machine each and being such long throw and 18" you just don't benefit from the bass as you need to be a good distance awayvfrom them to appreciate the bass. For home I would recommend Vibe audio home subwoofers (self powered) or if your a home Dj then look at some behringer 15" speakers and get them in the corners I have a mobile disco/ nightclub rig and running about 5-6,000 watts I bought these to give the low frequency notes a boost 60hz and below as 18" are quite slow to respond as say a cab of 4x12" drivers but 18" are Great for bass guitar and drum and bass and dubstep. Faster music sounds much better with a good set of 12-15's I run Qsc amplifiers and put around 900 watts per channel into these (after running them in carefully) and I get a clip light occasionally so they do take the power but I run them at 70hz and below and get a good rumble out of them but when tested at home I wasn't that impressed.They do come into their own though in a hall with a good amp. Belive it or not the bass over distance is better than my Jbl bins and my peavey black widow bass bins and seem more power efficient.....time will tell if the cabinets last as they are very very heavy (sack truck heavey !)

**Q: Do they work well in my car**
A: These are way to big for a car boot .very heavy to lift .I use a trolley to move mine. They deliver deep big bass but you would need a mains amp to run one with a 2k power amp. The only problem is you can't hear or feel the bass unless you are 10feet away from them.

**Q: Will it handle 400w rms?**
A: I put 250 watts rms through mine and they are hungry for more power!!! So I would think yes. The sound of these speakers for the money is very rich good value for money 

**Q: Do they have top hats for speaker stands?**
A: Yes they do ☺

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dont be fooled by the low price

Despite the low price, these speakers are solidly built and sound great. They also save you having to go to the gym for a workout, weighing in at about 40Kg. I was expecting to have to EQ out all the imperfections, but actually found the performance more than acceptable without any adjustments at all. I don't know how they can be built and shipped to the UK for this money, but there is nothing else on the market that offers such value.
