Just ensure the dongle is in Miracast mode, and click SmartView on the Android 7 pulldown. I ran a Powerpoint presentation seamlessly from my tablet without glitch, and this is the way to go.The only niggle is that the dongle is USB powered, so if your projector has no USB socket, you'll need to carry a phone charger plug and cable.
