They are non-toxic and food safe. The ideal product for children! Simply wash off traces on the skin or clothing with water. Versatile: Stroke & Coat can be used for both stoneware and stoneware ceramics. There is hardly any change in most shades. So finally colourful colours even in the high temperature range. So not enough: Stroke & Coat can also be applied directly to greenware (unburned clay, damp or dried). Ideal use for schools and kindergartens. You save yourself the raw burn! It looks somewhat porous.** A: It’s not bumpy, it has little crystals that melt and give the brown speckle effect when I fire in my kiln at cone 6. LOVE ❤️ LOVE ❤️ LOVE ❤️ this glaze with so many combinations!! I have had no problems and yes it’s food safe. You need to make sure you stir it really good and do three thick layers. This is my go to glaze now!
