If your husband is 6’5”, this costume may be shorter on him, as XL is the biggest size available. As for you, I am not sure. The tail is nice and full, the white section has Velcro tabs you open on one side to then allow unzipping of the onesie. And the pockets…have zippers, which I like. It was a near perfect fit for me (not too loose but not too tight) with the exception of the arms being a little too long. If you’re wanting a little more space then order what you regularly would wear this is specifically for the Skeleton onesie (can’t comment on the other designs as some of their sizing seems different and not a ‘slim fit’).Overall it kept me warm without feeling like I was in a furnace, the material felt pretty good, and held up well in the wash (I washed cold and did a delicate tumble but also okay to just drape out to dry.) Zippers were good, no snagging and felt sturdy enough.My only gripe is very minor,I'm 6'2" and long legged so, it's that the legs/ crotch region is a tad short, even when I tried it on without pants on.
