One of several reasons I wanted a chamber sealer was for the lower bag cost. I bought 1000 of these 8x10 bags to get me started. When these arrived I did some testing of various items with the chamber sealer and these bags performed flawlessly. I sealed some items with hard edges and had no punctures of the bags (3 mil bags). I think I made about 20 different seals just because I was playing with the sealer and familiarizing myself with it as well. At 4.3 cents per bag, you can't go wrong here. My Vacuum sealer is probably the MOST used accessory item in my kitchen so 1000 bags won't last me as long as you might think. I liked these so well I ordered the 10x13 size today. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highest quality for a budget price. *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 31, 2018* Have been using 5 sizes of these pouches frequently with my chamber vacuum sealer for 2.5 months now. There is nothing more to want from this product. Zero imperfections. The bags are also notched for easy opening. I bought a "notcher" specifically for the purpose since that wasn't in the item description, but it wasn't needed. They have held up well to freezing, sous vide and microwave cooking. Once the bag contents is hot enough to produce steam in the microwave, the bag inflates with the steam. Actually a perfect way to know when it is hot. These bags will expand considerably before rupturing.Keep in mind that if you are putting sharp objects (e.g. bones, croutons) under heavy vacuum and they will be handled a lot, you may find the 3 mil to be too fragile. UltraSource will be my brand for pouches whether I use 3, 4, or 5 mil.
