I really didn't think this stuff was going to work as pretty much nothing I have tried has really worked, My eyelashes are almost non-existent, I have to curl them with a lash curler as they are dead straight and I usually have to pile on layers of mascara to get it to look like anything is there at all. I opened the packet and following the instructions, cautiously applied one layer to my lashes and it looked pretty good, lashes were very long and thick and curved beautifully upwards, I wanted to add another coat as my lashes are so thin but thought I had better leave it to see what happened. I went to sleep and when I got up in the morning the lashes still looked great - no flaking, no smudging just perfectly curved and glamorous. I applied another coat and they looked even better, outrageously good actually. I have been working 24/7 on a project with a deadline and haven't touched them for 2 days and they still look like I have just walked out of a beauty salon. I still can't believe or understand how this product works but I am sold.I'm very pleased with this product! I've tried 1 or 2 falsie-type mascaras and have been disappointed in addition to wasting $30.. I like to curl my eyelashes before I apply mascara & the other falsie-type mascaras pull the curl out. I was curious to see what would happen with this product & figured I could try it for $13. I followed the directions so I did apply my regular mascara first (after curling my eyelashes).The gel & fibers didn't pull the curl out of my eyelashes. **Q: Will this product give you racoon eyes? I am a massage therapist so I tend to get very hot doin 5-7 clients daily.I need something that will not run.** A: I have not have that problem either. I agree, there may be some flakes if too much is applied; however, if you make sure to cover all the fibers, it won't have flakes throughout the day. I only had problems with the flakes right after applying; but, I gently brush them off with a beauty sponge that's been damped. Honestly, this product if applied correctly, they wont budge unless they are under like hot water or have been wet for a long time. I have used Mia Adora prior to this, which I absolutely loved but could not get hold of any more. I tried Younique and was pretty disappointed with it - although it added length, the volume was tricky to obtain and I found myself reapplying half way through the day due to the fibres coming off.I followed the instructions and applied a coat of the gel first. I was not hopeful as the first coat of gel left my lashes quite stuck together. But I persevered and applied the second coat of gel followed immediately by the fibres. I applied a second coat of gel and fibres and the result was amazing! Really volumptious and pretty good length too!However, the initial result was short lived as I lost some fibres throughout the morning...as with any 3d fibre mascara though, sometimes you need to perfect the application to get the perfect result so I am hoping with a bit of practice I can get the results to last the duration of the day. I am hopeful as initially when I first used Mia Adora, the application was a bit hit or miss but once I got the application right the result was super!Regardless of my negatives, 3d fibre lash mascara (particularly this brand and Mia Adora) are far better than any strip or individual lash extensions, any other mascara on the market. This is the first time I have used 3d mascara and I will never look back. I watched the Simply Naked Beauty video first and this helped me apply the mascara correctly. I am a bit messy when I put it on, however cotton buds are the answer to mopping up. I have now used it 4 times in my first week and my application is improving every time. For normal day time I only apply one coat of the flakes. My eyelashes are not naturally long and are blond at the tips and I am extremely impressed with this product. It is very waterproof and does stay on all day if applied correctly. I am not one for faffing around or pampering myself so I recommend this product as it has given me a very easy, quick way of enhancing my eyelashes with confidence.
