Great image quality but very heavy tho!

i brought these as replacements for some old ones i lost and they are a nice looking pair of binoc's and easy to use, but i found that i couldnt get the correct distance apart between the two eye pieces and had difficulty focusing on what i was trying to look at

I purchased these to replace a 20 year old pair from Bushnell (now held together with Duct Tape) thinking that in the twenty years that had passed there would be some improvement.Nope ! big mistake.If anything, optically these are a retrograde step by comparison.They feel well made, and sit well in the hand, however it is the optical performance that is most important, and for me they are shockingly poor.Impossible to get a sharp image on anything closer that about 50ft. at longer ditances matters do improve but not by much.I do not expect binoculars at this price point to be excellent, what I do expect is for them to be serviceable and fit for purpose which these fail to achieve. Dull fuzzy and lacking contrast.Extremely disapointing coming from such a well known manufacturer, the image quality is truly underwhelming and does not match the 20yr old pair that I can still use....just.Return initiated.
