The Boletus Pinophilus Mycelium allows you to grow your own gourmet mushrooms at home, offering a unique flavor that enhances a variety of dishes. This mushroom thrives in coniferous forests, making it a rare and exquisite addition to your culinary repertoire.

## Description

Boletus Pinophilus fruit appears in Autumn. They are quite short and have a semicircular, strongly convex hat with a wrinkled but regular surface. They have a brownish-red, dull skin. Their pores are small, round and whitish, and the tubes are long and thin. Boletus have a thick club-shaped leg covered with a dark red net. The flesh of this fungus is white and compact, but soft and delicate. To plant the mycelium around the tree (in this particular case - best pine) dig three holes with a diameter of 30 cm and a depth of 15 cm. Ideally, they should be at a distance of about 10 trunk diameters apart. Then half fill them, put in mycelium (1/3 pack per hole) and then fill with soil. Every hole should be solidly watered with a bucket of water. You can add sugar to it - it works exceptionally well on mycelium. Next, cover with moss, needles and leaves. Mushrooms can appear in the 1st or 2nd year of sowing. Mycelium is active for 3 - 4 years. Therefore, it is not so widespread in Poland as other varieties of boletus. At first glance it's easy to confuse with a different species. However, the exquisite, delicate taste of pine boletus is unique.
