I'd been getting lash extensions for over three years and decided to stop after moving far away from the gal who did them for me. My mom had extensions she wanted to remove, too, so I removed mine first then she removed hers. This product has the consistency of Vaseline, but less moist and sticky, if that makes sense. The instructions provided are minimal. Here's what I did: -I used a q-tip to apply it on the inside of my lashes, near my eyelids. -GO QUICK when you do this because it starts to burn after ~30 seconds and it will continue to burn for about 2 minutes. I didn't know this... but due to the burning, I didn't get the product fully on both my eyes on my first go-round. So get it on quick and shut your eyes! Or do one at a time. -After a couple of minutes, the burning stopped so I opened my eyes and got distracted with something else. After 4-5 more minutes I used a makeup remover wipe to wipe my eyes and I'd say 80% of my extensions came off. This was because I didn't get to fully apply it. -I applied another round (quickly!), and they all came off after this.
