I always wanted a set of these mugs & finally bought one. I wasn't sure if these mugs could be used for hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) so after researching, I read that they can be. After making a cup of tea, I encountered the mug became too hot to handle - I could not drink the tea because the edge of the mug burned my lip, & the handle became incensed where the only way to hold it is with pot holders. I finally poured the tea in a ceramic mug - lesson learned. Otherwise I would have given it more stars.
