I purchased the Siless as the most economical choice. I would like to be able to compare products as to their damping performance specifications, (not available) but a choice for the lighter weight material was a plus.I used 108 sq ft of Siless and saved 30 extra lbs weight that wouldn't have helped my electric vehicle's battery range. I also added a 157 ml layer of their sound matt overtop. I own a very quiet ride! **Q: Will this help reduce engine noise in a diy generator box made of plywood? (to inside walls away from exhaust)** A: Thank you for your question. You would get much better results installing butyl based material on metal.
