This is our wood grain brush with the plastic bristles. **Q: what are the dimensions of the brush?** A: Dimensions are: Approx. L, 6.5"; W, 1 3/8"; D, 1.5" , and has been redesigned with plastic bristles considerably stiffer than the old ones (of about 10 yrs ago). I found that the "spongy-based" brushes easier on my old scalp. **Q: I have very thick & full hair. Are these bristles firm, sturdy, & strong?** A: Yes this brush is durable but I only use it to brush my hair up into a bun or something.
