Review: Great cheap but to subdue clacky keys! - Works perfect! I love my keyboard but it was just a bit too loud for my office (I have the Epomaker Galaxy 100 wisteria switches) and I got these to help! I put 3 o rings on my letters since those are most used & put 1-2 on my other keys depending on use. Results came out perfect, subdued but still has the sound of my keyboard that I like. For reference, the :; key I was pressing is a key with no o rings on it, and the L key has 3 on there. It doesn’t change the feel, responsiveness, or speed when I’m typing either. Overall, great, cheap buy!

I stacked mine - 3 to a stem, and I noticed the difference with each ring I added. I ended up not getting enough, and both orders got to me within 1 day. Advice to get them on if you're struggling: open the package and put the rings in the box. Get the needle-nose tweezers (esp. if they curve) and use that to stretch the ring and put it on the stem. The curved tweezers let you push it further down on the stim without ruining them.

**Q: Does it come with a key remover?**
A: No.  You can use a butter knife to pop keys off.

**Q: Will these work on blue switches?**
A: They should. 
Keep in mind clicky switches will still click internally, but this will change bottom out feel.

**Q: Will these fit around a plastic straw? i’m looking for something unnoticeable to help seal around my yeti straw & reusable straw -inside & outside lid**
A: Yes it fits around my metal Waloo straw which I assume is the same diamater of a regular plastic straw.

**Q: Will this reduce the metal ping when pressing the key? Does this affect the travel distance significantly?**
A: I thought it improved the sound when I had them on but it's not going to be a drastic change like lubing the switch will be. I'm guessing it';s spring ping that you are hearing and it won't be able to stop that. It gave a softer feel to the bottoming out as you hit this instead. They are pretty thin so it doesn't reduce the travel distance, but I didn't feel it was significantly. Depends on your sensitivity I guess.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helpful, but more work required for a good board

They make a pretty minimal difference in type sound and feel, but they work as pretty good stoppers to stuff any dampening material into the bottom side of keycaps. After trying out just the o-rings themselves, I ended up poking a hole in little squares of PE foam, poking the stem of keycaps through them, and stoppering them with the orings. This elevates the carcass by a tiny bit, but made my cheap keyboard sound significantly less rattly. Don't expect this to make any change to your board. It takes additional work.
