I’m a size 40 and the navy fitted perfectly though an inch on arm length would be welcome. This was also a 40 inch and again fitted perfectly but again, a little shy on the sleeve length. It’s really well made again, good quality but I find it not as substantial as the navy. It doesn’t seem to have that ‘Guernsey’ weight that you expect. It’s not a complaint, just an observation. I still love it though I would love it more if a tad heavier/thicker. I still highly recommend this company. Post and packing is excellent. The label says it’s also reversible so if it gets worn on one side you can reverse it!Read the washing instructions carefully: cool wash only.Sizing? Follow everyone else’s advice: go one size up for the jumper. (I also ordered the zip version which didn’t need the extra size). Colour? I ordered a size 48 though i am usually a 44 depending on how much i've eaten and the ability of highstreet stores to size properly. This has left some room to breathe and is at the moment a comfortable loose sizing. The sleeves and neck are nice and tight regardless so this makes a looser fit more practical. The wool is rough as described and does require an long sleeve t-shirt under it in my opinion but it is very warm! As an aside, i have had low quality jumpers that have lasted a good couple of years, but it only takes you a minute to know that this one will last forever. The weight alone tells you that and the close weave gives you a bombproof impression. Well worth the money.
