I paid full price for this product and not being paid for this review
April 2016 I decided on getting fit and started using protein shakes, omega oils and vitamin D supplements. I have read a few articles that suggested Green tea could help with weight loss but never really bothered trying it out until about a month ago when I bought this Matcha green tea. I normally drink this post workout and just mix it in with cold water. It is not bitter and quenches the thirst quite well.On the days I drink this I dont crash after a heavy gym session as quickly, and find the energy to make it through the day. I have also noticed my work clothes are getting looser around the waist and I am also lifting heavier in the gym.

Perfect for making matcha flavoured goodies
I've recently got into matcha after reading about the health benefits it can provide and although I like to drink green tea, I prefer to add it to a smoothie or latte as the strong green tea taste can take some getting used to if you've not tried it before. This is the culinary grade so should really be used more as an ingredient anyway as it's a lot stronger than the milder ceremonial grade you tend to drink straight up mixed in hot water as a tea. I found the taste to be exactly as I expected - just like the authentic taste you get from a matcha cake or ice cream from Japan. Also, because it's quite strong, you don't need to add as much compared to the more expensive ceremonial grade to get that matcha taste come through. Although not the cheapest matcha, I figured paying a bit more to get a proper organic Japanese matcha is worth it.Lastly, the product came quickly and well packaged in a resealable pouch so the bright green powder should remain fresh and last me a while. All I need now is to find some good recipes!

Two fingers up \/ but not to these guys \m/
This is one of the nicest Matcha Teas that I have ever tasted, it mixes perfectly with my morning smoothie, or into my porridge, it is also wonderful as a tea :) cannot fault the sellers, on their speedy delivery and well packaged product, I know that these guys are a small business, it makes me feel great knowing that I am supporting them in my own small way :) two fingers up to the corporations! In summary... Best Matcha Tea EVER :) x

Great customer service
This was originally a one star review as the matcha I received tasted fishy but Revelation Organics have said there looking into this and have given me a full refund. Due to this I am changing my review to 3 stars as they seem to care about providing a good product. This product does have a lot of good reviews so mine could have been a one off situation.EDIT: I just received a new batch of matcha and it's actually good. I don't know what went wrong with the first one I received but this new one tastes very similar to my £20 matcha tin from whittard's. Anyway I've decided to change this review to 4 stars :)

Real organic Japanese matcha for cooking
My wife is into baking and must say we are really liking this matcha powder. We were a bit surprised how much 100 grams actually was so I'm sure it will last us a while. Green tea has well known heath benefits given its high levels of antioxidants so we try to integrate as much of it into our diet. In Japan, matcha is everywhere from teahouses, to dessert shops, even matcha-flavoured kit-kats! But given its hardly available here (maybe in oriental supermarkets?) you really have to make it yourself. We've tried it by adding it into muffins, cookies, and pancakes and you really get that matcha taste come through with just a couple teaspoons. In addition, this matcha is organic certified so we know we're not eating any nasties too. Also we tried drinking it neat with just some hot water (don't use boiling) but it is quite astringent though my wife actually prefers it! If you are looking to drink it - probably best to stick with the more expensive ceremonial grade which is less bitter. Otherwise, this culinary grade is perfect for cooking.

Organic, Rich and Smooth- Perfect for baking and drinking!
I love matcha because it tastes amazing and has so many health benefits. I've been to Japan a few times and it is sometimes difficult to find a good quality matcha powder in England that meets my standards, as many companies sell "green tea powder" which is not the same! The minute you open the bag just smells heavenly. It comes in a foil resealable bag which is very handy to keep it fresh and easy to store. I've managed to make matcha lattes, matcha mille crepe and even matcha acai bowls with this organic matcha powder and this matcha is very rich, pure and definitely good value for money. A tiny bit goes a long way and I will definitely be recommending this brand to my friends and family, as well as baking more matcha goods. Only thing I can fault is I wish it came with a traditional bamboo whisk but I know they can be bought elsewhere.

A way to get Green Tea in you without feeling sick.
Culinary Matcha is doing well in my home, I add a little to my cooking each day, sometimes a teaspoon or half? It's really down to what you are cooking? I've made the Latte from the free eBook they sent after buying, ebook is emailed to you for the people who said they've not got one. The Latte really nice, I do use 100% Honey, so I mixed it with the tea with a little hot water for the Honey to melt. If cooking fish I rub just a little tea on the fish also. If you suffer with Tannin in tea, where tea makes you feel sick? This could be your way around getting green tea in you, I know because I too suffer with it also. Hope that little tip helped?

£16 for that ?
Well what do I say 😬. Was expecting a bit more for £16 ! Probably get about 5 mugs out of the small pack, the 100g pack is about the size of a small soup packet lol. Won’t be buying again, I’ll stick to the large tub I got last time for £6.
