This steamer worked perfectly from day one. I know some people complain about the thousand watt versus 1500 W. But that really isn’t that big a deal to me. Basically it takes 15 minutes to heat up and then once it starts steaming steam is steam. The other nice thing about the thousand watt unit is that it does not put nearly as much stress on the circuit in the room where I have my sauna which leaves me options to have other things plugged in like lights, music, etc. I highly recommend this unit. It has been perfect for me Review: Crappy Lid - The lid is cheap. Falls apart and forms cracks after a few uses. This is the second steamer I've purchased and have had the same problem with both of them.
