They are reversible, but not easy
I opened up the mechanism to see if it was reversible, and springs and pieces went flying. Fortunately the instructions do have a good picture of the innards, and it appears the image shows the striker flipped, so it sort of has reversing directions. To get the cover back on, it helped to stick a screwdriver through the cover and through where the knob would go through. That part craves flight, so needs something to keep it in check. From there it’s a bunch of jiggling and aligning tabs. There’s a spring backer tab that I fought the most, then the striker needs pushed in slightly, then the knob pass-through can be shoved into place, and the striker body has a prong that pokes out of a slot in the cover. If the cover doesn’t sit flat, it’s one of those out of place. It’ll make sense once in there, but if it doesn’t go back together smoothly, this will help with troubleshooting. And after all of that, the holes and chamber didn’t align with my old unit. It was about a half inch shorter. If it were taller I’d carve out to make it fit, but I didn’t want to add filler and re-stain this vintage door. The face plates and knobs were the same size, so I was able to swap over all of that. I mostly wanted to get rid of 90’s gold, so mission accomplished, even if I had to retain vintage guts. The striker and deadbolt in this kit are gold, so best of both worlds with my setup.

Cheaply made
Very cheaply made. Poor quality. Some of the locks do not accept the key. They will not operate correctly when everything is tighten. The knobs need to be so loose for the mechanism to operate smoothly that they wobble and move around. Priced cheap for a reason. Would give zero stars if I could. Very disappointed.

It’s reversible
This wasn’t the right direction for my door, but I saw a comment that said it was reversible but difficult to reverse, and they explained how to do it. But if you search the brand and “mortise” lock on YT there is a video on how to easily do it in like two minutes
