This non-toxic, Chloride free formulation is ideally used on metal surfaces. It has a bright range of colours which is great for marking out areas which need to be cut or welded. The ink can be removed with a damp cloth and will leave no visible staining after going through the Galvanising process. Product Specifications 5mm nib bullet. Wet wipe erase with damp cloth. Water resistant to light showers. Touch dry in one minute. Valve activated to control ink flow. For use on all types of metal with non – porous surfaces. **Q: Will this work on a car window?**
A: Yes, will write on glass

**Q: Does it work on paint. Like on a painting?**
A: It is paint. It’s like a blunt sharpie that marks a strip of white paint on whatever you’re writing on. The mark is about 1/8” wide and opaque. It marks on most surfaces unless they have an oily film. It takes a few minutes to dry. Then it is relatively permanent.

**Q: Will it stain gunmetal if no follow-up galvanizing?**
A: Not sure if put on heavy it does run

**Q: Can it be put onto a stainless steel surface that will be in an oven at 400 degrees?**
A: Man not sure always wrote on metal  and sides of combines and on the engine and it hefts really hot not sure the temp during a 100 degree day I would think compartment was 3-400 degrees I would try it hope this helps

Bought to marking drill hole positions and for cut lines on oil drums. The line are a consistent thickness and stand out well against the oil drum paint (even yellow). Just remember that because the ink/paint is valve controlled you'll have to carefully press down on the nib a few times until the ink/paint starts to flow,
